Company registration records in China are public. The difficulty isn't access — it's that every official
register is in Chinese, some need a Chinese phone number, and nobody tells you which field is the
warning sign. Tell us the company; we'll build the exact search route.
What this is:the route — which register to search, which Chinese keywords to use, which fields to read, and what counts as a red flag. What it isn't:we don't run a company database and don't return records about a company. Everything below happens on public registers, on your screen.
Nothing you type is stored.

1 · Search these termsin Chinese — English names usually return nothing
2 · Official registersfree and authoritative — the source of truth
Don't want to do this yourself?
Most people get through step 2 and realise they can't read the fields, or hit a verification
step they can't pass. That's the part we do for you.

You need
Chinese name + credit code, browser translate, sometimes a Chinese phone number
3 · Commercial appseasier to read, partly paid — still Chinese only
How to read any of them in English:
Open the page in Chrome, right-click → Translate to English (or the translate icon in the address bar). Safari and Edge do the same; on mobile, tap the language prompt.
Translations are rough but usable: 存续 often becomes "survival" — it means active. 吊销 = licence revoked. 注销 = deregistered.
Search by the Chinese legal name. If you only have an English name, ask the supplier for their Chinese name and 18-digit code — a real company sends both immediately.
Confirm the credit code matches. Many companies share similar names.
